Immediately on entering the house you will notice the profusion of bears on our staircase and our family dog, Gus, who likes to lord it on the landing. No doubt he'll inspect you first,, but there is no cause for alarm for Gus is extremely friendly. | |||

Our ensuite rooms (with baths and showers) are extremely spacious, furnished with kingsize beds and lots of little luxuries to make your stay as pleasant as possible. All rooms command splendid views over open countryside towards Skiddaw and the mountains of the Lake District. | ||

Tuck into a hearty breakfast, read the paper in the sun lounge, stroll around the garden and then go forth and enjoy the day. | |||
